Kenta installs GMDSS System in Egypt
In cooperation with Marcom Trade KENTA has completed the installation of Kossier MRCC and Port Said MRCC for Telecom Egypt.
In cooperation with Marcom Trade KENTA has completed the installation of Kossier MRCC and Port Said MRCC for Telecom Egypt. This represents 2/3 of the total project that consists of 25 x VHF systems with 4 x 50W Transceivers for Voice & DSC and 1 Duplexer, 4 x kW NAVTEX transmitters with 2 x Antenna Matching boxes and 2x 2:2 Antenna Matrix, 10 x 1kW MF/HF transmitters for Voice & DSC, 6 GMDSS Servers, 2 NAVTEX Operator consoles, 6 Voice Operator Consoles, 6 DSC Operator Consoles.
In total 25 VHF Sites, 2 Navtex Sites, 3 Main Sites (MF HF and MRCC) will be installed in 3 areas (Alexandria, Kossier and Port Said). This GMDSS system for a complete country like Egypt is the biggest project in KENTA's history.
